That's not a bad thing in itself, but there are elements of the game that are currently problematic in my eyes, which I will cover below. I am led to believe from other posts that there is another area after the mansion area, but I have not yet seen it myself, because this game is merciless. The little set pieces like the statues and the doll house are great interactibles that add to the strange mysticism of the setting and help keep me in the experience. The visuals while low rez, are very characterful and internally consistent for the most part, so if anything felt out of place, it was because it was strange in a way thematic to the game, rather than out of place aesthetically. I like the items that I've seen, and the flavour text that came with them, it gave me the strange-items-out-antiquity-and-possibly-time-and-space kind of feel, which again, is great Lovecraft. The dark lighting, the ominous appearance of pretty much everything, those gave me a really Lovecraftian vibe, so hat's off to you for that. I've played this game for two hours now, and I thought I'd offer my thoughts so far and see if they are any help, or if it resonates with anyone else.
